The role

If you’re self-motivated, collaborative and passionate about marketing come join the Shaw Business Marketing team. We’re looking for a dedicated Marketing Specialist, to help tell the Shaw Business story, drive brand awareness, implement a social content strategy, and support our sales team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with multiple teams across Shaw and external partners to support in the development and execution of a variety of marketing initiatives. We work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and are looking for enthusiastic team member.

A typical day

• Manage the end-to-end process to bring multi-faceted marketing campaigns to market – overseeing creative development, execution, and approval process
• Work collaboratively with product managers, agency partners and sales, to develop custom marketing collateral, videos and campaigns promoting the benefits of Shaw Business products
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain always-on social media content that reinforces Shaw Business’s brand positioning and market leadership
• Track and provide insights on competitive offers and activity
• Support sales and customer base management teams by developing and reviewing presentations to ensure they are aligned with the corporate brand strategy
• Manage the production, communication and distribution for a wide range of marketing and sales materials internally and through our online channels
• Collaborate with product, digital, internal communications and creative teams to position new and existing products and develop custom marketing solutions and promotional strategies that align with broader positioning and organizational goals
• Analyze campaign results to determine evaluate insights/key performance metrics and present learnings and results to internal stakeholders through post-analysis summary presentations
• Build brand awareness for Shaw Business by ensuring consistency of the brand platform and creative across all channels

Your skills/experience

• Degree or diploma in Marketing complemented by 2-4 years of related work experience
• Proven experience writing and producing short and long form social content
• Understanding the B2B marketing industry is considered a strong asset
• You’re a strong, strategic thinker and problem-solver with a keen creative eye
• You seek to build cross-functional relationships in a meaningful and authentic way
• You thrive and easily adapt in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• You notice the little things. Attention to detail is second nature
• You have experience working on multiple projects with competing priorities
