The role

As a Digital Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in unlocking and driving outcomes for the Digital team and be at the heart of strategic discussions on how to integrate data-driven recommendations.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who will provide analytical and digital insight to help improve conversion rate, customer experience and traffic on behalf of Shaw Communications. You will work and collaborate closely with the larger Digital team, business stakeholders and other Shaw teams, as well as with third parties to expand our vision beyond digital.

A typical day

Collect, define, develop and articulate reporting, analytics and KPIs, and communicate results and insights to stakeholders. Drive business from “WHAT” to “WHY”
Be a Strategic thought leader and drive business performance
• Drive business performance by identifying opportunities. Size the business opportunities and build rationale around why we should pursue this opportunity.
• Drive the business outcomes by providing consultation around why we need to pursue and idea.
• Tell a data story for easy consumption of data and insights
• Use data to tell meaningful and impactful stories
• Provide data insight for the Digital team to improve customer experience and maximize conversion rate
• Act as subject matter expert for all digital data. Present data visually in a meaningful way (dashboards, reports, decks, etc.)
• Communicate insights clearly and adapt what is communicated to the audience
• Effectively communicate to senior leadership on what’s happening and why. Help business articulate “so what”
• Provide context and benchmarks for the “what’s happening” and what it means

Build Data and Reporting Capabilities
• Partner with members of the Analytics and Digital Technology teams to identify opportunities to improve analytics using Tealium Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics (previously Omniture SiteCatalyst), Optimizely and other platforms
• Create clear observations through measurement reporting and analysis, provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve business, website, and/or online program performance
• Audit current analytics and contribute to the framework and solutions design across digital initiatives

Stakeholder Management
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Shaw Communications digital assets, business models, digital strategies and digital analytics in general
• Liaise with key stakeholders to promote best practices for digital measurement

Your skills/experience

• Must have 3-5 years of experience in Adobe Omniture.
• Well verse in building segments, creating workspaces, dashboards in Adobe Workbench and analyzing digital data using Adobe Data warehouse
• Must have 3-5 years of strong data analytics skills. storyboarding, building dashboards using excel, VBA, Tableau, Alteryx or DOMO.
• Well verse in building use cases, identifying key metrics. Strong storytelling skills.
• Collect, define, develop and articulate reporting, analytics and KPIs, and communicate results and insights to stakeholders
• Knowledge of journey browse tools like HotJar / Clicktale/content square is preferred
• Strong partner management, stakeholder communication skills
