The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist on the Shaw Advertising team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Regional and Retail Sales this role will oversee the creation of collateral for sales partners throughout the organization, implement regional advertising campaigns, and direct mail programs.

A typical day

• Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders (i.e. sales, product, etc.) to position new and existing products, on & offline, and develop custom marketing tactics that align with customer segments, and product/brand positioning.
• Execute a variety of portfolios within the Consumer organization such as Major Accounts and Satellite sales support collateral, direct mail, and regional advertising.
• Lead direct mail campaign across Shaw and Shaw Direct working with stakeholders on segmentation, creative development addressing segment profiles, production, and reporting.
• Analyze campaign results to evaluate insights/key performance metrics and present learnings and recommendations to the leadership team through post-analysis summary presentations.
• Work with internal and external partners on data-driven regional campaigns that are paired with sales outreach and activation.

Your skills/experience

• Post-secondary education or relevant experience in Marketing and Advertising.
• 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Experience leading advertising campaigns.
• Experience in all aspects of direct mail campaign work including briefing, creative development, targeting reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to take lead on large projects working with diverse stakeholder groups to achieve a collective goal.
• Able to work independently with leadership.
• Demonstrate strong skills in Marketing theory with a passion for developing new ideas.
• Strong initiative, time management, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
