The role

As a Program Manager on the Channel Go to Market and Engagement team you will work with cross-functional stakeholders and sales teams to identify needs and build channel program strategies. You will develop execution plans and bring to market, while managing and maintaining the sustainment and impact of programs.

This role will focus on end to end ownership of channel programs that drive positive customer and sales experiences or help with sales conversion. Key accountabilities of this role include: stakeholder management, strategy development, project and timeline management, leading cross-functional teams, building execution and adoption plans, developing and executing program sustainment plans and measuring program metrics. This individual will the primary contact for Shaw & Freedom's sales teams as it pertains to programs in their scope.

This is an exciting new role that has a high level of visibility throughout the organization as it requires partnership and support from stakeholder groups such as operations, supply chain, marketing, and customer base management. The successful candidate will identify business needs in the sales channel, develop strategic programs, and sustain these programs to support those needs. These programs will have a significant impact on improving experience for Shaw and Freedom’s customers and sales teams.

A typical day
The Program Manager will be responsible for building new Channel Programs from the ground up, while also managing and maintaining programs already live in market. Day to day tasks include the following:
New Program Development:
• Analyze sales programs landscape and identify areas of improvement or where new programs are required
• Build strategies and recommendations for sales teams, demonstrating expected program impact
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to assess timelines and projects required for program roll-out
• Build program score cards
Current Program Management:
• Obtain and analyze reports that illustrate the impact current programs have on the business
• Partner with sales and other key stakeholder groups on program feedback and adoption
• Identify areas to improve or evolve based on business needs
• Communicate program status updates to sales leaders and stakeholders on a weekly basis

Your skills/experience

• 5-7 years experience in a marketing, project management or program management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with end-to-end program management from design to execution with close attention to detail.
• Self-starter who takes initiative to identify business needs & develops strategies to solve them.
• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to forge relationships with various individuals and teams and work collaboratively to achieve project goals.

This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check.

• Travel required up to 20% of the time within Canada (when travel is permitted)
