The role

The primary focus of the Analyst, Wireline Growth will be to support in the execution of marketing and promotional strategies that will help build our Wireline home services subscriber base. This includes the ability to support with the creation, tracking and target setting for various promotional offers.
Based out of Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto, this role will report to the Director, Wireline Growth and will support the profitable pricing and packaging initiatives, advanced prospect targeting and coordinated sales and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to work cross-functionally with Wireless Growth, Advertising, Product Management, Sales & Distribution and Operations, and with support from our Segmentation, Customer Insights and Analytics teams.

A typical day

• Define the right offer and channel strategy for the targeting of new customers by working closely with our Analytics & Segmentation, Sales, Enablement, Finance, Digital and Advertising teams;
• Reviewing complex data sets to help the business determine trends and opportunities for business growth;
• Support with the execution of targeting, pricing, and go-to-market planning for Growth activity as it relates to marketing and acquisition programs;
• Understanding regional competitive activities and dynamics in order to further define strategic pricing, packaging and pricing offers on a regional level;
• Working cross-functionality to review results, offer tracking, analysis and identify opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize campaigns and improve profitability;
• Use custom tools to help support and manage an omnichannel experience and offer access across our agent facing roles.

Your skills/experience

• 3-5+ years of experience in an analytical role within marketing, pricing, product management, customer segmentation or a related field.
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business/Commerce, Economics or related field is required.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Demonstrated experience in the consumer products, marketing or telecommunications industry with the ability to translate business goals into execution.
• Proven ability to manage projects and competing priorities, while maintaining great attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator, ability to translate complex concepts into simple solutions.
• Strong sense of teamwork and the ability to develop, work with, and lead cross-functional teams, and establish and maintain effective working relationships.
