The role

The primary objective of the noted role is to support Shaw’s Identity & Access Management (IAM) practice in configuring One Identity software, developing connectors, designing workflow, and creating notifications in support of automating provisioning or deprovisioning to Shaw’s systems, platforms or applications on premises or in the cloud. You will be working with infrastructure team, application owners and the user experience teams to deliver efficiencies and cost avoidance opportunities to the enterprise.

A typical day

• Provide operational support for Shaw’s identity and access provisioning platform (One Identity Manager).
• Assist with requirements, planning and design of identity and access management initiatives.
• Provide development support and test validation of secure IAM features in a multi-platform client-server environment (Shaw’s target systems).
• Produce and maintain needed documentation (technical reference, and job aides).
• Support existing integrations and participate in net-new initiatives that impact provisioning system(s):
• Staff data source systems for HR-based provisioning
• AD / Azure / Office 365 / Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite / Exchange Online
• Data integrations – on prem and cloud platforms
• Specific software access requests of other Shaw systems or tools
• Assist with the development of One Identity Manager based scripts, user interfaces, and data integration with enterprise systems (following coding best practices).
• Participate in the configuration of the connectors, workflows, and notifications.
• Assist with system integration testing and environment deployment tasks.
• Assist with assessing the health and documenting the performance of the One Identity Manager software in Shaw’s environment.
• Participate in platform upgrades, patching, etc.

Your skills/experience

• Experience with One Identity – Identity Manager
• Experienced .NET Framework skillset
• Develop and manage custom connectors to entitlement systems – REST SCIM API
• Web portal development
• Application development and interface security configuration
• Template, script creation
• Staging, configuration, and testing in other environments
• Data modelling and schema extensions
• Setting up new systems to interface with One Identity
• Database calculation and processing
• Adding and removing features, configuring and customization
• Report building.
