A typical day

As our customers' first point of contact, you are the face of our company! When customers choose Shaw Direct, they can count on you to give them the best consultation. You are skilled to ask the right questions to effectively match Shaw's products and services with our customer's unique needs and to uncover other opportunities.

You will be our customer's connectivity expert on entertainment packages and services that add value by fitting their unique lifestyle and financial needs. You have excellent verbal communication that allows you to encourage an organic and engaging conversation.

Your skills/experience

We don't want our customers to miss a thing, so we require availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Must be able to take on multiple tasks while maintaining an organized work load schedule and pattern which may include data entry, chat conversations and processing accounts and taking on inbound or outbound chats and calls
Proven ability to close sales through various sales channels
Proven ability to deal with change with a positive can-do attitude
Previous call centre experience and knowledge of Cable Base System (CBS) is an asset

•This position requires the successful completion of a criminal and credit background check
•Hires starting on or after November 15th will be required as a condition of employment to provide proof of full vaccination with a federally approved COVID-19 vaccine (or proof of a valid exemption).
