The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager on our Customer Base Marketing team. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing communications to our customers to grow and retain our existing Internet, Cable, Wireless and Video business.

A typical day

In this role, the ideal candidate will:
• Design and deliver omini-channel customer journeys that support the strategies and objectives developed within the customer base management team. Omni-channel tactics include email, SMS, digital ads, push/in-app notifications, web pages, etc.
• Partner with internal/external teams to ensure campaigns and communications are compelling, personalized and frictionless
• Act as a Business Lead in an agile digital marketing pod, executing on Base Management campaigns to meet KPIs
• Employ data-driven approach, always synthesizing information to identify opportunities to enhance communication effectiveness (example A/B testing creative assets)
• Plan and prioritize campaign deliverables based on scope of work and business objectives
• Proactively monitor campaigns progress, anticipate potential risks and easily pivot with innovative solutions
• Proactively evolve processes to improve operational efforts and customer experience
• Collaborate with Digital Experience and Technology teams to drive our digital initiatives forward
• Build exceptionally strong relationships across all partners. Teams include Business Strategy, Data & Analytics, Advertising, Digital, etc.

Your skills/experience

• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing.
• 5+ years’ experience in Marketing Communications, Telecommunications industry is preferred.
• Very strong knowledge of customer marketing/direct marketing best practices
• Proven ability to manage projects and competing priorities, while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Proven track record of driving results and working in a very fast-paced environment
• Exceptionally strong communication skills
• Strong sense of teamwork and the ability to work with and lead cross-functional teams
• Experience building consumer-facing digital services and experiences
• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, DOMO, PowerBI) is an asset
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or Tealium IQ Tag Management and Audience Stream is an asset
