The role

Our Wireless Supply Chain team is currently hiring a Process & Support Manager to join our Toronto team! In this role, you will be the builder and gate-keeper of process documentation for the Warehousing & Supply-chain teams. You’ll work collaboratively with multiple groups (internal and external) to create, optimize, and manage all documentation that pertains to the Wireless & Network Supply Chain business units!

A typical day

• Document all major processes end-to-end and produce process flow diagrams. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners and external business partners to define, document, and streamline SOPs and operational functions.
• Set documentation standards, establish document management/control, and facilitate organizational change.
• Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
• As a key team member, plan and implement process improvement initiatives; demonstrate your problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to evaluate issues, challenge existing processes, and propose alternative solutions.
• Monitor various benchmarks and critical metrics; Identify and investigate operational misses or exceptions, provide detailed root cause analysis to leadership, and prescribe corrective measures (RCCA).
• Apply value stream mapping to identify and eliminate waste.
• Assist with the design and rollout of new team and cross functional processes, communication and enablement programs.
• Develop and deliver departmental reports that track the achievement of service outcomes.
• Assist in determining project scope and schedule based on the needs of the business and customer requirements.
• Provide technical insight, knowledge transfer, and training to relevant personnel.
• Support operations teams and other day to day activities as needed.

Your skills/experience

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Business Administration complemented with 2-3 years of related work experience.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills are a must-have for this role.
• Highly skilled with visualization tools, and advanced-level MS Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Proficiency in change management methodologies and deployment of these within project plans.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard problem-solving methodologies (LSS, DMAIC). Possesses or working towards Six Sigma certification would be an asset.
• Comprehend and clearly communicate complex information/data.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain metrics and key performance indicators.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity with pressing deadlines and constantly evolving business needs and conditions.
• Proven investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding project management skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to comprehend, assimilate and document processes, order flows, reference guides, and data.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and Warehousing systems (ex: WMS, Oracle EBS)

• This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check

• Location: Toronto / Greater Toronto Area
• This role is primarily remote (work from home) with regular travel to warehouse (Milton) and corporate office (Toronto) required.
