The role

As an Associate, Device and Accessories and part of the Wireless Device team, you will be involved with all aspects of the Wireless device business. You are excited about wireless devices (phones, tablets, wearables, and IoT) and the accessories that supports it. You will be engaged with the product management team to help track, analyze and produce data and reports that will aid the business become profitable.

A typical day

• Track, manage and invoice the generation/utilization of market development funds (MDFs)
• Develop and execute plan for utilization of marketing development funds and other OEM initiated activities (such as trade-in programs, price promos, gift with purchase etc)
• Monitor and report on sales/inventory/return levels
• Monitor and report on return/failure on products
• Track and manage end of life products and accessories and be part of making the decision managing these products.
• Support Product/Business managers on any report and data analytics requirements

• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Project Management skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to find creative ways to negotiate and maximize profitability
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time
• Excellent communication & organization skills
• Ability to escalate and question the status-quo
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and scripting, PowerPoint is a must)
• Proficiency in Tableau is optional but highly desired
• B.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering, or B.Comm and 2-3 years of relevant industry experience
