The role

The successful candidate will be accountable for leading the day-to-day operations of the Technical Operations department supporting the Lower Mainland and ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided to our customers.

A typical day

• Manage and mentor people – recruitment and staffing, coaching, and mentoring, employee development, performance management, compensation recommendations
• Build and engage relationships with team and customers – daily communication with team members, supervising engagement levels
• Identify and remove any barriers to the team or the business
• Lead and grow the business – roll out of new products, processes and tools, finding opportunities for improving business
• Give daily to the delivery of an outstanding customer experience – handling customer critical issues, supervising work quality, and providing daily support to the team
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure team adheres to all applicable Health & Safety regulations
• Maintain effective communications with all departments to ensure the highest level of customer service
• Lead any special projects

Your skills/experience

• 1-5 years of leadership experience
• A consistent track record of team building is a critical asset
• Strong dedication towards the development of our employees and the team
• A positive “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with ambitious situations with integrity, kindness, and sincerity
• Strong communication skills including communicating ideas, public speaking to large audiences, writing various types of documents for internal and external audiences, facilitating effective meetings
• Strong decision-making skills and demonstrate good judgment
• Results oriented and motivated with the ability to work with the public
• Strong dedication to quality control and workmanship practices
• Effective Time management and organizational skills are vital

Other details

• This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check
• As a condition of employment, all new employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination with a federally approved COVID-19 vaccine (or proof of a valid exemption)
